We’re looking for a Night Manager, someone who is savvy and considerate - who takes pride in creating and delivering great customer experiences. Working with the Front Office Team, you’ll be part of a team driven to succeed. You’ll contribute to the service and quality of Student One, ensuring we live up to our reputation as Brisbane’s Smartest Student Accommodation.

Key focus area:

• Work within a dynamic team, contributing to the nightly running of the Student One on Adelaide Street, Wharf Street and Elizabeth Street residence while working to achieve the occupancy and financial targets of the business.
• Assist with the residential contracting process.
• Ensure the Student One residence facilitates a positive environment that supports a positive community of students.
• Assist with the planning, coordination and arrival and departure of residents, visitor groups and individual visitors ensuring compliance with Student One policies and procedures.
• Assist with the effective coordination of the resident's experience service level expectations and welfare requirements.
• Provide advice, guidance and support to receptionists and residents and when required direction to the appropriate student services teams at the specified education provider.
• To be the escalation point for all resident matters including but not limited to noise, behavioural, security and safety. To ensure escalation protocols are followed in accordance with the incident assessment policies.

The successful candidates should also possess:

• A passion to work with a customer focused environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and a core understanding in StarRez or equivalent property management system or hotel reservation system.
• A passion for student welfare and safety.
• A current Queensland Government issued Blue Card allowing them to work with students (this can be obtained at the commencement of role).
• Proficient in conflict management.
• At least 3 years work experience in a customer focused role
