About the organisation
Spatial Services, a division of the Department of Customer Service is the key provider of spatial land information services in New South Wales.
Spatial Services' integrated framework connects the people of NSW to a comprehensive package of land and property services including property information, surveying and mapping.
Spatial Services' provides land information services to individuals, businesses, government agencies and non-profit organisations throughout NSW, Australia and internationally.
About the role:
As the Advisor Digital Products, you will oversee the development and delivery of reliable products and systems for clients and stakeholders.
You'll support and maintain content in the Spatial Digital Twin and other data channels, build and improve product features, resolve technical issues, and develop processes for high performance. You'll handle complex inquiries, coordinate projects, and build strong customer relationships. Staying informed about relevant trends will help you recommend innovative solutions.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant degree level tertiary qualification in Spatial Sciences, GIS or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Highly desirable but not essential would be demonstrated experience working at a competent level with - ESRI ArcGIS Desktop and Pro, QGIS and other GIS applications / Esri Portal - including Experience Builder / File Manipulation Engine (FME) / Python Scripting / Database Management/ Amazon S3Tools
Salary Grade 7/8, with the base salary for this role starting at base plus superannuation
