We are working with a leading financial services provider that is transforming how Australians manage and interact with their wealth. As part of a growing UX and digital product team, they’re seeking a Senior Product Designer to join on an initial 6–12 month contract, with strong potential for extension.

�� About the Role

This role sits within a highly capable UX Design team, reporting directly to the UX Manager, and will work closely with teams across Product, Technology, Data, and Marketing.

You’ll lead the design across direct customer digital channels — including mobile apps, public websites, and logged-in customer environments.
The focus is on delivering elegant, intuitive solutions for complex financial services challenges, with a strong balance of customer empathy, regulatory awareness, and technical feasibility.

�� Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design delivery across digital platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, stakeholders, and compliance teams.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design direction.
• Drive consistency and efficiency through the use and evolution of the design system.
• Conduct and interpret usability testing, research, and analytics to iterate on designs.
• Champion accessibility, responsive design, and customer-first thinking.
• Present and defend design decisions clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to a high-performing design culture and mentor junior team members.

�� About you:

• 5+ years’ experience in digital product or UX/UI design,
• Financial services, superannuation, or wealth management experience is essential
• Strong portfolio of customer-facing work across web and mobile platforms.
• Expert-level Figma skills and experience working with scalable design systems.
• Confident communicator — able to engage and align stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent understanding of UX principles, UI design best practices, and accessibility standards.
• Experience with Agile delivery environments.
• Ability to balance design vision with regulatory and business constraints.
