Functions Manager - Fettle, Stepney (EMBR Hospitality)

We’re on the hunt for an organised, experienced and hands-on Functions Manager to join the EMBR Hospitality team at Fettle in Stepney. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for events, hospitality, and people, who’s ready to lead from the floor while keeping all the moving parts running smoothly behind the scenes.

You’ll be working under the guidance of our Functions Supervisor, taking ownership of event execution and coordination both onsite and offsite, and playing a vital role in delivering unforgettable experiences to our clients.

This is a 30-hour permanent part-time role, with the potential for increased hours during the busy wedding season.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the setup, execution, and pack-down of events onsite and offsite.

Be the main point of contact for clients, ensuring a warm, professional experience.

Maintain high event standards, meeting client expectations and EMBR’s signature style.

Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and logistics teams for flawless service delivery.

Handle stocktake, ordering, and inventory management for events.

Lead nurture and generation, leading to business development.

What We’re Looking For:

2+ years experience in hospitality or event management, including sales.

Bar and floor experience - you’ll be leading from the front.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team under pressure.

Excellent communication and client service skills.

Full driver's license required.

Experience with offsite event logistics is a big plus.

Current RSA and RP badge essential.
