Job Summary: You can work remotely anywhere in Australia with support an established and experienced team.
We are seeking Advocates with experience in Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation (CSC) claims to join our established team to support the increasing requests by veterans. This role takes the stress and confusion away from the client during the complex claims process ensuring that the Veteran and their families are aware of their entitlements. This helps veterans, and their families thrive and prosper post ADF service.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit compensation claims with CSC.
Work within legislative and policy guidelines to document claims from Veterans.
Lead Case Coordination - manage and update client files using record management systems.
Ensuring data quality and accuracy.
Communicate with clients and their representatives to gather additional information.
Provide clients with a regular update on their claim.
Provide fortnightly updates to Management and the AO Team on CSC achievements.
We look for:
Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation (CSC) claims experience (Preferred).
Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) claims experience (Beneficial).
Accreditation under the ATDP Compensation Advocacy (Beneficial).
Demonstrated complex problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proven experience in learning, interpreting and applying complex legislation.
Effective case management skills.
Demonstrated ability to follow process, policy, legislation and remain confidential.
Demonstrated effective written communication and interpersonal skills in support of Veterans and their families.
