This growing and leading specialist insurance broking and advisory business is expanding their offering Australia-wide and are now looking for an East-Coast based account executive to support their current existing clients and future growth plans. Working with corporate clients in Defense, Dangerous Goods, Subsea/Offshore Decommissioning, Nuclear, Space Tech & Risk, Robotics and more, they have a strong reputation and a genuine passion for the industry they are in.
The Opportunity
This position is an Account Executive position, supporting one of the Directors and will be conducting quotes for clients on specialised risk platforms. You will also manage day-to-day broking operations and provide high-level support to clients and to the business. Play a crucial role working with the team by preparing technical documentation, timely communication with clients and the end-end completion of insurance policy management. We are looking for an engaged, competent and organised individual with a good basis of insurance knowledge. About the Job
- Provide tailored insurance quotes, advice and support to clients and ensure timely updates to them, the insurers and other stakeholders
- Draft, review, and finalise insurance slips, endorsements, and reports while ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Prepare proposals and submissions for new business and renewals
- Manage the day to day broking process – claims, certificate production, renewal report preparation for our corporate accounts
- Assist with risk assessments, policy analysis, and research on insurance products and market trends
- Document client communications and handle routine inquiries related to policy documentation.
- Manage renewals, cancellations, amendments, and maintain accurate client records in brokerage systems.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in documentation and communications while maintaining best practices.
About You:
- 2-5 years’ experience within insurance (preferably Corporate & Specialty industries)
- Law degree - commercial/insurance focus. (preferred)
- Organised and self-driven, taking full ownership of tasks and outcomes
- Strong communicator, providing timely updates to management on key projects
- Experienced in insurance policies and brokerage operations, with a keen eye for accuracy
- Proficient in preparing technical documentation and managing policy administration
- Committed to compliance, ensuring all documents and processes meet regulatory standards
- Client-centric, responding promptly to inquiries and providing exceptional service.
- Eager to learn and grow, actively participating in training and professional development.
