The Role: Estimator / Contract Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to play a key role in the delivery of our high-end custom residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQ)

Developing and reviewing contract specifications

Managing purchasing and procurement activities

Evaluating subcontractor quotes and negotiating pricing

Producing and issuing purchase orders

Collaborating with suppliers and contractors

Pricing and managing project variations

Your ability to build strong working relationships, combined with a focus on operational excellence, will be essential to success in this role.

About You:

Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in the residential construction industry

Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and techniques

Proficient in interpreting construction plans, specifications, and contracts

Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail

Demonstrated experience in preparing quotes and pricing variations

Skilled in producing BOQs and managing contract variations

Solid understanding of the estimating process across sales and production stages
