Our client is a Brisbane based custom home builder who also has a large internal trade base which is shared with another internal division that takes on a variety of different smaller scale jobs such as high-end renovations, property maintenance, landscaping and other trade based jobs. Although the jobs are smaller they are delivered to the same standard with professionalism as their multi-million dollar builds.

Our client is looking for an experienced estimator who has previous experience being on site and understands how builds come together (Extra eyes for their site supervisors). The candidate will have experience estimating homes and will need to be comfortable estimating jobs anywhere from $5K - $4M.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates across a wide range of residential projects
• Interpret plans and specifications to prepare take-offs and scopes of work
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing
• Work closely with the project and sales teams to ensure budgets and timelines align
• Maintain consistent documentation and assist with quoting processes
• Contribute to the smooth and professional delivery of each job – big or small

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in residential estimating – ideally across new builds, renovations, and maintenance
• Comfortable in estimating a wide range of jobs
• Someone who has previous site experience (estimating / supervising)
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Proficiency with estimating software
• A proactive, solutions-focused attitude and a team-first mindset
