The role…

Client facing. Be a key client contact and collaborator for merchandising support and development.

Develop and maintain planograms for existing and emerging merchandising systems.

Collaborating and supporting the launch of market leading, innovative and sustainable retail merchandising systems for the number 1 cosmetic brands in the world.

On site in Truganina and at client offices in Melbourne. Work from home is offered when practical.

Liaise with client merchandising, marketing and senior planning staff

Collaboration with our local and international planogramming, creative and technical engineering/design teams.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience in a client facing role.

Must have strong communications skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Independent work ethic and sense of responsibility

Essential: Understanding of merchandise, attention to detail, Microsoft excel, experience in space/retail planning or similar.

Favoured: Experience with space planning software and graphic design software. Experience in cosmetics merchandising, or similar complex field. Customer service background. Design and/or POS background. Tertiary qualifications.

Numerate with a business mind.

Have at least two years’ experience within a space planning or similar role in retail.

A hands-on approach. Not shy to pick up the phone, get away from the computer and get things done.

Exceptional organisational and time management skills.

Presentable, service centric.

Understands the client – supplier relationship in a highly competitive industry.

Have a passion for well-designed brand and retail environments with an understanding of the consumer experience.

Proactive, with a dedication to take responsibility to ensure a project runs smoothly within deadlines.

Have the ability to interpret multiple sources of complex data to draw conclusions and make recommendations.

Be creative, being a person who loves to bring ideas to the table, show willingness to input and add value.

Willingness to learn, grow, try new things.
