About Frontline Merchandising Group (FMG)

Frontline Merchandising Group is based in Melbourne with an office in China.

Main business: conceptual designs, manufacturing and importing custom made merchandise (promotional products) for a range of high profile national and international brands. We specialise in custom merchandise, corporate apparel, luxury bedding, displays; through to print and packaging.

Key Role

you will play a pivotal role in product range development. Your responsibilities will include supporting the Buyer in researching product trends, sourcing appropriate products aligned with brand and customer expectations, and managing procurement and order processes in accordance with company guidelines. You will collaborate across departments to enhance our brand's reputation and ensure superior customer experiences

Primary Responsibilities

Liaising/directing suppliers

Working with offshore team in all facets of the supply chain:

Sourcing quotes from local and international suppliers

Pre-production sample testing

Writing, organising and distributing clear job briefs consistent with the client’s wishes

Working to briefs with and directing offshore staff in production process

Monitor production timelines and ensure deadlines are met

Conduct quality checks on incoming materials, swatches, and finished products then resolve any quality issues promptly.

Assist in coordinating the end-to-end production process from concept and sampling to delivery including communicating with operations team in China.

Assists in product development process of products ensuring they are engineered for, and manufactured to specification and best quality standards

Skills & Knowledge/Experience

We are looking for someone with 5 + years’ experience in a similar industry

Account management experience preferable

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Speak good Chinese and understanding the language.

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive)
