With close to three decades of experience servicing the corporate workplace sector throughout NSW, QLD and VIC, our client is going through an expansion phase in Melbourne and has now created a new opportunity.

You will ideally have 5 years of experience in the industry, although we encourage applications from those with 2-3 years and above, especially if you have a background in D&C environments or have worked on commercial spaces in an Interior Design consultancy.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Interior Design or Interior Architecture qualification
• 5 years of postgraduate experience in the local industry
• Previous involvement on commercial fitouts, including refurbs and revitalisations ranging from 250sqm-1000sqm
• Highly proficient on Revit, Enscape and Adobe Creative Suite
• Solid background in documentation, joinery detailing, space planning
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Communication focused and solutions-oriented approach
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Day-to-day, your responsibilities will be broadly based and you’ll be involved from initial client engagement, able to assist with the development of concepts from early design stages and to liaise with suppliers. Strong Revit based documentation skills must be a part of your overall skills mix.

Working closely with senior designers in presentation stages, as well as the project management and construction teams, this role offers genuine scope for diversity and growth. You’ll be mentored within a small team environment and as your skills develop, your effort and contribution will be seen, valued and rewarded.

You will also be supported by the wider interstate team and immersed in a culture that values proactive problem-solving. They pride themselves on their passion for design with buildability in mind, project transparency and a seamless delivery process.
