Your new role

Due to continued growth and recent project wins, an exciting opportunity has opened for a Civil Estimator to join their North Brisbane / Southern Sunshine Coast team.
You'll be responsible for managing the full tender lifecycle-from initial request to final submission-while collaborating with internal teams, external suppliers and key project stakeholders to ensure accurate, competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil infrastructure projects
• Interpret project plans and specifications to define scope and requirements
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to negotiate pricing and timelines
• Develop cost schedules and assist in programming civil works
• Attend site visits and pre-start meetings to assess project conditions
• Work closely with contracts and procurement to ensure compliance with specifications
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in civil estimating, ideally on TMR or road infrastructure projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Expert estimation software
