Reporting to the service manager, this industry leading multinational company is seeking an ambitious applicant to fill a key role in customer service and scheduling service work.

The business in Australia has been established for over 40 years and has 5000 packaging machines installed in Australia and New Zealand; manufacturing premium quality machinery and thriving to deliver a premium customer service.

About the Role:
In a service environment, there is an emphasis on pro-actively meeting customers’ requirements.

Based in Hallam your working hours are 7.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday with a 30 minute lunch break.

Your role is pivotal in working closely with the service manager and the team of service technicians and contractors to provide preventative and breakdown repair work to machinery in the field.

Part of your role is keeping records of customers machinery and service history, requiring proficiency in data entry.

About you:
We are seeking a "Go-Getter, someone who is self-motivated and in return, the company will provide the right environment for you to grow in the role and as a person.

You will participate as an integral person in the service team developing a strong rapport with the service technicians whilst delivering prompt service support maintaining a high level of customer service to our customers.

Excellent communication, both verbal and written is a key factor that drives the success of this role.

Ideally you will have prior experience in a customer service and service scheduling role, however applicants with a desire to start a career in customer service will also be considered.

Ideally a technical background or have a good understanding of industrial machinery, (motors, gearboxes, bearings, electrical components and fabricated components) will be advantageous.

Key Duties:

The service team in Australia and its functions are vital to the future success of the company. The following is a summary of duties of the role:

· First person to respond to a customer that has a service requirement

· Schedules the service by using your available resources liaising with the service technicians

· Ensures the customer is well informed as to the status of the service being done

· Keep up to date service records on machinery, schedules and further work required

· Responsible for purchase order and the invoicing process

Renumeration:

Salary $75K to $80K (depending on experience) plus 12% superannuation contribution, plus performance based incentives immediately following the probation period.

You will also have the exciting opportunity to travel to head office (USA) for training for 2 weeks.
