Our client is seeking an experienced General Manager of Finance to lead and manage the company's financial departments. Primarily this is a key role in overseeing the organisations financial performance, operational efficiencies, and growth initiatives. They specialise in offering production, service & distribution of industrial equipment to the open pit drilling and blasting sector of the mining industry.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading and mentoring a finance team committed to excellence
• Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance
• Advising senior management on strategic financial matters
• Driving efficiencies across systems, processes, and reporting frameworks
• Managing cash flow, investments, and treasury in line with best practice
• Providing executive oversight of corporate functions such as HR, IT, and Compliance
• Building strong relationships with auditors, financial institutions, and regulators

What you’ll need:

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in senior finance roles with strong leadership credentials
• Proven track record across financial strategy, governance, and transformation
• Experience managing or contributing to HR, IT, or Compliance will be highly valued
• Strong ERP knowledge (SAP B1 experience desirable)
• Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or Business
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
