State Sales Manager – Heavy Vehicle Industry
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a State Sales Manager with a leading truck and heavy vehicle company based in Forrestfield, WA.
The Company:
This Australian owned company leads the national distribution of construction equipment and trucks. With a strong portfolio of internationally recognised brands, they serve industries from heavy duty equipment to road freight and haulage. Their network of dealerships and service centres spans across the country, backed by a team of 500 employees committed to excellence and customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead truck sales across WA and ensure strong territory performance
- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with market targets and business goals
- Provide strategic input to the General Manager and collaborate with senior management
- Support a customer-driven team culture focused on service and satisfaction
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs and key clients
- Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team
- Deliver accurate forecasting, reporting, and budget management
- Maintain a strong understanding of competitor activity, product offerings, and market trends
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within the truck, or capital equipment sectors
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and drive performance
- A strategic mindset with strong commercial and operational acumen
- Strong CRM knowledge and experience with sales reporting and tender processes
- Excellent relationship management skills, including OEM engagement
- Professional, values-driven leadership style with resilience and accountability
- Trade or tertiary qualifications in business or a related field (advantageous)
- Experience in industries such as agriculture, mining, construction equipment.

- Attractive base salary of $150,000 plus superannuation and achievable commission scheme
- Fully maintained company vehicle (includes personal use)

- Monday to Friday role, with standard senior-level responsibilities and expectations
- Travel across WA, interstate, and internationally as required
