We provide structural & geotechnical design, asset condition assessment, project management and structural & vibration monitoring to local authorities, infrastructure asset managers and construction companies.
Due to continued growth, we are searching for a Draftsperson to join our team.

The Role:

You will play a key role in delivering detailed structural drafting support across a variety of projects. Your focus will be on producing high-quality documentation, working alongside our engineers to model complex structures including bridges, foundations, retaining systems, and temporary works. You will also help ensure accurate design documentation from concept through to construction.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed structural drawings and 3D models in Revit for infrastructure and building projects

Collaborate with structural engineers to interpret and model designs for reinforced concrete, steel, and other construction materials

Apply relevant Australian Standards and drafting conventions to ensure documentation accuracy and compliance

Coordinate with other disciplines and external consultants to manage drawing integration

Maintain and improve Revit templates and drafting workflows to drive project efficiency

Support the QA process by ensuring all drawings meet internal and client-specific requirements

Ensure all drawings and documents follow version control, naming conventions, and client-specific submission protocols

Handle the coordination and submission of drawing transmittals, including upload to client portals (e.g., Aconex, TeamBinder, or similar platforms)

Ensure timely document revisions, track responses from stakeholders, and maintain a clear audit trail

About You

Possess relevant qualifications in drafting or structural design

Minimum 5 years of drafting experience in an engineering consultancy, with a structural focus

Experience in drafting of Shoring and Foundation Systems, temporary works, bridges, structural steel detailing is preferred

Advanced proficiency in Revit

Strong understanding of construction detailing and sequencing

High attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines

Experience with project coordination tasks (such as deliverable tracking, internal scheduling, or consultant liaison) will be considered a valued additional skill
