Wedding Day Assistants – Casual

Established in 2009, Confetti & Co Events is a creative, down-to-earth team of experienced wedding planners, stylists, and coordinators based in Perth. We plan, style, and deliver beautiful and unique weddings across the Perth metro area, South West and Wheatbelt. We are known for our attention to detail, thoughtful service, and seamless event delivery — and we’re growing our on-the-day team!

We’re currently looking for Casual Wedding Assistants to join us for the 2025 wedding season, commencing in September.

About the Role

As a Wedding Assistant, you'll work on-site at our weddings to help set up ceremony and reception spaces, liaise with vendors, and support our planning team behind the scenes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoys being part of a creative team delivering beautiful events.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with set up and pack down of ceremony and reception spaces

Helping position furniture, décor, signage and floral items

Communicating with suppliers and vendors on the day

Supporting the bridal party and lead planner as needed

Ensuring all styling details are executed to perfection

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

Has great attention to detail and takes pride in their work

Works efficiently and follows directions in a fast-paced environment

Has strong communication and teamwork skills

Is physically fit and capable of lifting/moving event items

Is available to work weekends and outside normal business hours

Has a positive, can-do attitude and genuinely enjoys helping others

Previous experience in weddings or events is a bonus, but not essential.

A driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle is required, as events may take place at venues across the Perth metro area.
