Your New Role

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will lead a team of Operations Managers and take full accountability for the day-to-day operations across multiple properties along the East Coast. Your core responsibilities will include driving qualisty scores, achieving profitability, managing productivity, and developing strategic business plans for each site. A key focus is providing your team with the support to become effective business leaders while maintaining strong and collaborative relationships with all clients, including management of some key properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all operations and business activities across your portfolio to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor the operations team, fostering continuous development, engagement, and succession planning.
  • This is a hands-on role. Perform daily quality controls and monitor KPI’s.
  • Manage all the financial aspects of your business unit including annual budgeting, cost control and reporting to ensure all budgetary & qualitative KPI's are achieved and upheld.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact for clients to ensure alignment and satisfaction including regular client meetings and interstate travel.
  • Stay informed on market trends and industry developments, applying this knowledge to refine operations and maintain a competitive edge.

Key Experience & Attributes:

  • Minimum 5 Years operations leadership experience in the hotel industry, preferably within a contracting services environment or similar client-focused organisation.
  • Highly dependable and trustworthy, with a strong sense of professional integrity and accountability.
  • Proven ability to lead multi-site teams and deliver results in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a process-driven mindset, with the ability to analyse KPIs and make informed decisions which deliver excellent service & standards.
  • A natural leader with hands-on, proactive approach and a commitment to continuous improvement, with a desire to work flexibly to suit the hours and needs of the business.
  • You are a person who is inquisitive and challenges the norm, with desire to learn, grow and contribute to the long-term success of the business.
