We are seeking a Qualified Horticulturist/Gardener to join our team at Peter Christopher Gardens. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the gardens and landscapes of our residential clients.

What you'll be doing

Applying horticulture expertise to plan, implement and maintain high-quality gardens and landscapes

Carrying out a range of gardening duties including turf installation, irrigation installation, mowing, tree and hedge pruning, planting, mulching and weeding

Liaising with clients to understand their gardening needs and preferences

Providing advice and guidance to clients on plant selection, care and maintenance

Maintaining gardening tools and equipment to a high standard

Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in horticulture or a related field

Minimum 2-3 years' experience working as a qualified gardener or horticulturist

Strong knowledge of plant species, their care and seasonal requirements

Ability to diagnose and treat plant diseases and pests using organic methods

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Friendly and professional approach when interacting with clients

A valid driver's licence and reliable transport
