Registered Psychologist (General or Clinical) – Subcontractor

Naomi Carswell Psychology is seeking a fully registered psychologist (General or Clinical) to join our warm and professional private practice based at the Warragul Wellness Centre – a beautiful, holistic setting shared with a range of allied health and wellness practitioners.

This subcontractor position is ideal for someone who is:

• Looking to ease into private practice without the pressure of running it solo

• Seeking flexible hours and choice in type of caseload

• Wanting to feel supported while working independently

• Interested in working in a relaxed setting - no KPIs

What’s on Offer

• Competitive hourly rate: $110–$140/session (dependent on qualifications and experience)

• Waitlist of referrals + steady stream of referrals

• A professional and welcoming therapy room within Warragul Wellness Centre

• Admin and billing support

• Optional weekly meetings with me (Naomi, Clinical Psychologist and practice owner)

• Flexibility with days, hours, and client focus (adults and/or young people)

• Flexible start date

What You’ll Need

• Full registration as a General or Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA

• A current Medicare Provider Number (or willingness to obtain one)

• Professional indemnity insurance

• Ability to work independently and ethically within a private practice setting

Role Responsibilities

• Provide psychological therapy under the Better Access (MHCP) model and NDIS (capacity building)

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

• Communicate with referring GPs as needed
