Are you a skilled and passionate psychologist with experience in working with children and adolescents? We are seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our thriving and supportive multidisciplinary team on a part-time contractual or employee basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician who is highly motivated in promoting the lives of children and families through early intervention services involving comprehensive assessment and child-focused therapy.

Positive Minds Psychology is located within a well-established Medical Centre and Paediatric Hub. We have provided integrated care to children, adolescents, families and adults for over 25 years. With strong referral networks and high demand for services, we offer a steady caseload in a collegial setting that values peer support, professional growth and clinical autonomy.
The Role:
We are seeking a motivated and empathic psychologist experienced in:
Working therapeutically with children and adolescents across a range of developmental, emotional and behavioural presentations.
Conducting neurodevelopmental assessments for ASD, ADHD, SLD and cognitive difficulties using standardised diagnostic tools and psychometric instruments.
Preparing high-quality diagnostic reports
The provision of appropriate feedback regarding the outcome of assessment, educational and therapeutic recommendations to parents, teachers, and other health professionals
The ability to deliver therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, play therapy, family family and behaviour management following clinical and psychometric assessment as appropriate

What You Bring:
Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
Minimum 2 year's experience working with children, adolescents, and families
Competence in conducting assessments for ASD, ADHD, cognitive and learning difficulties
The ability to provide child-focused therapy
Excellent report writing and communication skills
Excellent time management, organisational and documentation skills
ABN and professional indemnity insurance
Valid working with Children Check
Clear ethical standards and a commitment to evidence-based care.
