About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts and Payroll Officer to join our team at Airforce Airconditioning in Osborne Park, Western Australia for a 13 month parental leave cover. This full-time role will be responsible for managing the company's accounts and payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and processing accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.

Handling the company's payroll, including calculating wages, doing timesheets, processing tax and superannuation, and generating payslips.

Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation.

What we're looking for

Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and Finance as a minimum

Certificate IV in Payroll administration or 2 years' experience in a payroll role

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel

Proficient in the use of Xero or similar accounting software

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
