Candidate Manager – Construction Recruitment

Perth | Full-time or 4-day week

We are looking for a Candidate Manager to join our team and work closely with our Director in building relationships with exceptional talent to introduce to our valued clients.

About the Role

This role is heavily candidate-focused. You’ll work side by side with our Director — who brings 20+ years of construction recruitment experience — to source and place high-calibre professionals across a wide range of roles predominantly project-driven roles in the construction sector, including:

• Project Managers & Project Engineers
• Estimators, Quantity Surveyors & Contract Administrators
• Site Managers, Supervisors & Foremen
• HSEQ & Quality professionals

You’ll have the opportunity to attend client meetings with the Director to develop a deep understanding of their businesses, but your main focus will be on the candidate side of the recruitment process — sourcing, screening, engaging, and presenting high-quality talent.

About You

You are confident, commercially minded, and passionate about delivering a high quality candidate experience. Ideally, you will have:

• Have 3+ years’ experience in recruitment, resourcing, or candidate management
• Have experience in the construction recruitment market, or a strong interest in learning it
• Enjoy the candidate side of recruitment and want to stay focused on sourcing, engaging and developing relationships with our candidates
• Are proactive, strategic, and know how to source hard-to-find talent
• Communicate with credibility and polish — you'll be dealing with senior Construction professionals
• Can manage your time well and thrive in a mature, autonomous work culture
• Operate with high integrity, a strong work ethic, and a focus on long-term success.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing job briefs and sourcing candidates across platforms like LinkedIn, Seek, and our database
• Conducting screening interviews (phone, virtual, or face-to-face)
• Building genuine candidate relationships through a consultative approach
• Preparing and formatting resumes for submission, writing profiles
• Coordinating interviews, managing feedback, and supporting candidates through the process
• Collaborating with the Director on search strategy and market insights
• Contributing to internal initiatives like branding, events, and presentations (if desired)
