A new full-time position has become available for a civil designer. Qalchek specialises in sewer and water design.

As well as design duties in the office, the successful applicant may be allowed to conduct construction field inspections, which will allow you to see your designs being constructed.

Essential criteria are:

• Sydney Water Design accreditation (C1 minimum)
• Want to be challenged, both technically and professionally.
• Be driven to exceed clients' expectations and willing to go the extra mile to ensure the client is happy.
• Be keen to problem solve and drive project outcomes.
• Ideally, you will have a Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering
• Have Knowledge and experience using AutoCAD including 3D civil drafting.
• Been willing to go out in the field and undertake design surveys.
• Must be willing to communicate with clients, constructors, and co-workers.

The following attributes are not essential, but will be highly regarded:

• Possession of WHS White Card or willingness to obtain one
• Knowledge of Sydney Water design codes and requirements
• Survey leveling experience
