About the role

Punchline Excavations' is seeking an experienced Sydney Water Civil Manager to join our team in Smithfield, NSW. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of civil engineering projects for our extensive portfolio of Sydney Water infrastructure works.

What you'll be doing

Managing the end-to-end delivery of civil engineering projects, including planning, design, construction, and handover

Liaising with Sydney Water stakeholders to ensure projects meet all compliance and regulatory requirements

Overseeing a team of civil engineers, technicians, and contractors to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget

Identifying and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle

Providing technical expertise and guidance to the broader business

Continuously improving processes and standards to drive operational excellence

What we are looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience in civil engineering project management, with a focus on water infrastructure projects

Thorough understanding of Sydney Water requirements, standards, and specifications

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget

Ability to lead and motivate a team of engineering professionals
