This impressive organisation operate across Australia, providing essential transport services to their broad client portfolio, combining cutting edge technology with a people first approach to continually support their customers.

The Finance & Admin lead will initially be a 12 month fixed term contract, with a possibility of extension. Reporting into an impressive Financial Controller, and having direct access to multiple C-Suite leaders, this is a critical hire at an exciting time for the organisation, with duties including:

Prepare and review financial reports

Financial accounting tasks - general ledger requirements, reconciliation of accounts

Oversee the AR/AP process - invoicing, collections, payments, vendors, invoicing etc

Analysis of financial findings, and commentary on financial performance

Ensure adherence to accounting standards

Partner with key stakeholders, working closely with senior leadership teams and operational teams

Continuous improvement requirements, identify efficiency enhancements and support on the continuous development of financial operations

Work closely with the Financial Controller and financial controls team on ad hoc reporting requirements

To be successful, you will have spent 5+ years in a financial reporting focussed role, will likely have a strong background in transactional finance (AR/AP) and be comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment. You will be able to work autonomously, quickly, and communicate effectively with non finance stakeholders.
