Sunshine Social is opening a breakfast and lunch cafe in Cotton Tree. We are renovating the old Mojo cafe site which is in a beautiful location - close to the beach and opposite the caravan park.

Anticipated opening date: September 1st; availability for training from approximately the 18th/25th of August.

Full time and casual positions available.

Our menu is built around the best of what’s local and in season — simple, thoughtful food that lets quality produce speak for itself. We’re focused on honest, ingredient-driven dishes that celebrate flavour, sustainability, and community. We are looking for an energetic, customer focussed, and detail-orientated chefs or cooks to join our team. If you are passionate about all things food and customer service we would love to hear from you.

We are open 7 days from 6:00am - 3pm so ideally you will be available at weekends (at least a Saturday or Sunday!) and a few extra days during the week. We are a vibrant bunch who like to have fun while we work in a fast-paced environment. We have casual and full time roles available.

What makes you stand out?

Chefs or cooks:

2 years of kitchen experience in similar venues

Qualifications if you are a chef

Passion for quality produce

A genuine enthusiasm for customer service - a people person

Ambition to continually maintain high standards and further your skills

A positive attitude and approach

Ability to work in a team environment but also excels in an autonomous role

Excellent communication and time management
