Work Form Home (WFH) 12 - 18 month fixed term contract for an experienced Stakeholder Engagement Specialist to lead a structured engagement process for a government environmental initiative.
- Requires: minimum 7 years experience in deliberative facilitation, stakeholder consultation, or community engagement and current Australian Citizenship
- Salary guide: $110.00 - $130.00 per hour.
- Location: Work From Home with occasional meetings in Canberra.
Your normal day will involve:
- Leading the design and facilitation of engagement processes involving various stakeholders.
- Running workshops focusing on issue analysis, objective setting and developing management options.
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team and external experts.
- Producing high-quality documentation and outputs.
- Engaging respectfully with First Nations processes.
This contract position supports a significant project focusing on improving water health in the Snowy Mountains region. You will facilitate discussions among stakeholders from government and community sectors, ensuring the inclusion of diverse perspectives. The engagement aims to produce actionable insights gathered over 12–18 months that will guide future water management decisions. Regular online meetings will keep the team aligned and focused on project goals.

- Can operate autonomously and credibly in front of stakeholders
- Is capable of producing advice that informs national policy
