About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated professional to join our team in a pivotal role that supports and enhances nursing practice through education and development. Drawing on your clinical expertise, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality training, learning experiences and education resources tailored to the needs of our nursing workforce. Your work will directly support the capability and confidence of our clinical staff, ensuring safe, consistent and contemporary nursing practice across various settings.
In this role, you will be accountable for delivering impactful education programs, addressing variances between policy and practice, and promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Whether you’re supporting specific teams or wards, leading education portfolios, or coordinating innovative projects or research, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the professional development of nurses and contributing to improved patient outcomes. About you
You are a highly skilled and experienced Nurse or Midwife with a passion for education and leadership. You bring a collaborative and solutions-focused approach to driving quality improvement through education, with the ability to lead cross-Directorate initiatives and deliver meaningful outcomes in a complex healthcare setting.
Proven ability to lead, design and evaluate high-quality nursing/midwifery education programs using contemporary methods.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate and resolve conflict across teams and services.
Demonstrated experience in planning, implementing and managing educational change and consumer engagement initiatives.
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, education theory, and current professional and healthcare issues affecting nursing/midwifery practice.
