Administration & Office Support – Full Time
Join a growing concrete business and help build it from the ground up. Southern Premix is seeking an experienced, proactive, and trustworthy Office Administrator to manage the daily office and financial operations of our newly established concrete batch plant on a legacy site.
About the Role
You’ll oversee the full admin function and support the owner directly. This includes:
Payroll, accounts payable and receivable
Invoicing and supplier liaison
Executive assistant duties (scheduling, reporting)
Learning and using batching and sales platforms (DornerBatch, Dorner Sales, MaintainX, Netcorp)
Using AI tools for document generation and admin automation
Creating backend systems: credit apps, terms, WHS plans, procedures
Reporting on operational KPIs
Acting with discretion and independence
What We’re Looking For
Strong admin experience, ideally in construction or heavy industry
Competence in finance tasks (payroll, AR/AP)
Trustworthy, professional, and tech-savvy
Comfortable learning new software and using AI tools
Highly organised, self-motivated and process-driven
