The product is a mission-critical ERP/CRM system automating business processes for the majority of Australia’s strata market - backed by a major financial technology company that’s quietly recruited senior talent from Google, Meta, and Amazon. It’s used every day by businesses that manage millions of homes and billions in funds.
We’re hiring Senior Engineers who want to go deep on performance, scale, and security, and build systems that actually matter. You'll help reshape the platform, uplift coding standards, and own meaningful slices of the technical strategy.

What you’ll be doing

• Re-architect a PHP-based platform into clean, scalable modules
• Write performant, secure, maintainable code that will stand up at scale
• Optimise MySQL queries, indexes, and performance-critical DB operations
• Solve tricky problems around data integrity, queue handling, deployment reliability
• Contribute to automated testing and DevOps uplift (GitHub Actions, AWS CI/CD)
• Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and cloud specialists across multiple squads

• Back End: PHP 8+ (custom framework)
• Front End: Knockout.js, React (v19+), JavaScript (ES6)
• Cloud & Infra: AWS (EC2, RDS, SQS, CodeDeploy), GitHub Actions
• Testing: PHPUnit, Karate, load testing (K6, JMeter)
• Security: Secure coding, OWASP10, CSRF protection, IAM best practices
• Monitoring: CloudWatch, DataTrace, and performance profiling tools
