We are on the lookout for an experienced AWS Cloud/DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Infrastructure-as-Code, system support, and automation. We're looking for a reliable and hands-on contractor to provide expert support during a critical migration phase of our client's cloud infrastructure. This role can be done remotely, perfect for someone who thrives in a flexible work environment and can jump into an existing project pipeline with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development, updating, and deployment of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible within an AWS environment.
• Manage and troubleshoot RedHat Linux and Windows Server systems.
• Address pipeline issues related to the deployment of new cloud environments.
• Respond to requests for OS-level changes, including package installation, permission updates, and script execution.
• Collaborate with vendors to support configuration and deployment activities.
• Help upskill internal DevOps engineers in pipeline deployment and troubleshooting practices.
• Contribute to refining existing IaC pipelines and supporting documentation/run sheets.

• AWS Cloud (multiple parallel environments)
• Terraform & Ansible (IaC automation)
• RedHat Linux and Windows Server (2:1 configuration per environment)
• Oracle RDS & Oracle WebLogic (for database and application services)
• GeneSuite (softHLA and softMol modules)

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
• Proficient in Terraform and Ansible for AWS.
• Comfortable supporting both Linux and Windows-based systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with remote teams.
• Able to work independently and adapt quickly to existing systems and processes.

What's on offer?

• $800 - $1,000 p/d
• Part-time role (3 days p/w).
• Initial 6-month contract.
