Description
- Assist with the implementation of environmental management plans to meet regulatory and company standards
- Monitor environmental performance metrics, delivering clear and actionable reports
- Conduct site inspections and audits to identify risks and drive mitigation strategies
- Prepare and submit compliance documentation to relevant authorities
- Advise on environmental policies, procedures, and legislative changes
- Support initiatives that enhance environmental impact and community engagement
- Liaise with stakeholders to address concerns and explore opportunities for improvement
Profile
A successful Environmental Officer should have:
- A relevant qualification in environmental science, environmental management, or a related field.
- Experience in environmental compliance within the energy and natural resources industry.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in preparing reports and managing environmental data.
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
