About the role
This role reports into the Financial Control Manager and supports all aspects of the month-end close and statutory reporting process. You’ll be trusted to manage complex accounting areas, improve processes, and bring a commercial mindset to a high-performing finance team.

Duties/Key responsibilities

• Lead or support the month-end close, including journals and reconciliations
• Prepare and review financial reports and technical accounting memos
• Work with auditors to ensure smooth year-end process
• Drive improvements in financial processes, controls and documentation
• Support business-wide initiatives including automation and system integrity

Skills and experience

• CA/CPA qualified with strong technical accounting knowledge
• Experience in audit (Big 4 or mid-tier) or a second mover from commercial
• Ability to manage reporting deadlines and stakeholder expectations
• Systems mindset with good Excel and ERP experience
• Industry background is not essential — the right attitude is
