We are seeking skilled and motivated support workers to join our growing team. You’ll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalised care, reinforcing therapeutic strategies, and ensuring adherence to behaviour support plans.

Position Overview:
We are recruiting dedicated support workers (male and female) to provide companionship to our young male autistic client. Care will be delivered at the participant’s home and in the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
No personal care required
Provide support with personal organisation and daily routines is a must.
Accompany the participant with future outings into the community.
Maintain accurate shift notes and follow behaviour support strategies.
Shift Details:
After School - 3 x shifts per week hours are from 3.30pm to 6:30pm (times can be a bit flexible). 10 hours per week and weekdays only.
Pay Rates:
Day Shift: $33.96
Afternoon Shift: $37.36
Saturday: $47.55
Sunday: $61.13
Public Holiday: $74.72
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must hold (or be willing to obtain):
National Police Check
Yellow Card/National Disability Worker Screening Clearance
NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion
Right to Work Status
Manual Handling Certificate
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
Valid Driver’s Licence (ability to drive client’s vehicle)
Comprehensive Car Insurance
Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care/Individual Support or Nursing studies with paid experience
Preferred Experience & Skills:
✅ Proven experience supporting individuals with Traumatic Brain Injuries/ Spinal Cord Injuries
✅ Proven ability to drive clients and assist in the community
✅ Experience assisting clients with physical disability
✅ A compassionate and professional approach
✅ Strong attention to detail for documentation and care plan adherence
