About the role
Anew Care Services' require an experienced female Disability Support Worker on a casual basis with the ability to move to permanent part time with a set roster. This role involves providing high-quality, person-centred care and support to a female client with a range of disabilities in a home environment SIL in Toowoomba. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital part in a team.

What you'll be doing

Assisting client with personal care.

Helping with meal preparation, housekeeping, and other daily living activities.

Facilitating social and recreational activities to promote client wellbeing and independence

Advocating for client needs and collaborating with other professionals to ensure holistic care

Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with company and regulatory requirements

Adhering to all health, safety, and quality standards to ensure a safe environment

What we're looking for

A caring, compassionate, and patient approach with a genuine interest in supporting people with disabilities

Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in the disability support sector

A reliable person looking for a long term position up to 33 hrs per week, in a good home environment.

The ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team

A relevant qualification, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent

A current driver's licence and access to reliable transportation

A demonstrated commitment to upholding the principles of ethical and person-centred care
