About the opportunity
Southern Cross University’s Student Administration Services is seeking a Planning and Operations Coordinator to provide operational support, guidance, and coordination across a range of student administration functions.
In this role, you’ll support staff and students by contributing to the delivery of high-quality services, system improvements, and continuous process enhancements. You’ll work collaboratively across teams, lead operational activities, and play a key role in training, data analysis, and service delivery. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate key functions across scholarships, timetabling, course implementation, and data reporting.
- Liaise with Technology Services on system improvements and manage testing and documentation.
- Analyse and maintain data integrity in student systems.
- Lead process improvements and develop staff training resources.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and support to team members.
About you
You’re an organised, solutions-focused professional with strong analytical and communication skills. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy improving systems and processes. You will have:
- A relevant qualification and experience in administration or a similar environment.
- Strong attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret policies, apply procedures, and use data effectively.
- A collaborative and adaptable approach, with a commitment to equity and safe practices.
Salary and benefits

- Full-time, continuing position.
- Located at either Coffs Harbour, NSW 2450, Gold Coast, QLD 4225, or Lismore, NSW 2480.
- HEW Level 5. The base salary ranges from $80,737 - $89,717 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $104,968 per annum.
