Join our Communications and Community Engagement Branch and play a key role in shaping meaningful connections between Council and the community! In this role, you’ll lead the way in delivering innovative, high-quality community engagement strategies and provide expert advice that drives collaboration and positive outcomes for both internal and external stakeholders.

About You
You are an excellent communicator with experience in community engagement, stakeholder consultation, and problem-solving. You can create engagement plans, manage multiple projects, and produce quality communication materials. Experience with Canva and Microsoft Office is a plus.
The position's focus will be:
- Provide internal and external support to ensure communication and engagement activities are optimised and align with best practice and within the Community Engagement Framework.
- Support the design and delivery of community engagement activities for major projects, such as community discussions and forums, to support council officers in the delivery of identified projects.
- Establish relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to promote Council’s consultation strategies and activities.
- Participate in the input of content and the management of engagement projects hosted on Council’s community engagement platform Your Say Noosa and other methods and communications channels as appropriate.
- Collect and analyse engagement data to monitor Council’s engagement activities for operational reporting purposes.
- Such other relevant duties as required from time to time which would generally fall within the scope of this position
