The Digital Health Solutions at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Application Support Officer to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity

To work in a collaborative team and contribute to the ongoing maintenance of a Digital Hospital environment. You will have the opportunity to contribute to training delivery, adoption, end user support, interoperability of ieMR with other systems and devices, User Acceptance Testing, Production Validation Testing, functionality in the clinical context, validation, configuration of personal customisations, system change request/approvals, reporting/data collection, and engagement with stakeholders. Each application will have focus areas tailored to their specific strengths while developing the broad skills required. The team would be responsive to peak load demands of the service and requires broad involvement in all aspects of digital transformation.

About the Team

The Digital Health Solutions team (DHS) support the state-wide Integrated Electronic Medical Record (ieMR) solution and offers opportunity to be involved in training delivery and system adoption, as well as change management and process redesign. The functionality of ieMR at this HHS includes Medication Management, Anaesthetics, SurgiNet, FirstNet, Care Delivery, Renal and Powerchart Maternity solutions and includes device integration for ECG and CTG.
