About the Role
We are seeking a capable and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our small but high-performing finance team at our Head Office in Chippendale. This is a hands-on role supporting both day-to-day operations and month-end reporting across our diverse property portfolio.

You’ll be responsible for:

Preparing management fee and facility invoices

Reconciling bank and credit card accounts

Supporting weekly pay runs and tenant refunds

Handling recharge invoicing and month-end tasks

Assisting with AP, AR, cashflow monitoring and financial reporting

Working closely with the Finance Officer and Finance Manager on a variety of projects and process improvements

About You
You will thrive in a fast-paced environment where every day looks a little different. You’re a team player with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset. You bring a passion for accounting and a desire to grow within a business that genuinely cares about its people and its purpose.

To be successful, you’ll ideally have:

A degree in Accounting, Business or Finance

2+ years’ experience in a similar role

Strong Excel skills and confidence working across systems

Great organisational and time management skills

A positive attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves

Experience in property, strata, hotels or real estate is a bonus.
