📋 About the Role

As a Fire Alarms & Detection Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that fire detection systems are fully operational and compliant at all times. Your work helps keep our clients’ people, property, and businesses safe.

You’ll visit client sites, perform scheduled testing, provide technical advice, and deliver high-quality service.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Test, inspect, and maintain fire alarm and detection systems to AS1851 and other relevant standards.

Identify faults, carry out basic repairs or recommend further action.

Complete all compliance documentation and test reports accurately.

Provide professional advice to clients regarding system performance and compliance.

Maintain tools, equipment, and ensure all work is performed safely.

🎓 About You

We are seeking someone with:
✅ Experience with fire detection & alarm systems (essential).
✅ Strong understanding of Australian Standards & building codes.
✅ Sound diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
✅ Excellent customer service and communication skills.
✅ Current driver’s licence.
✅ White Card, relevant certifications or electrical licence (highly regarded).
