ESS is a Victorian based fire service company looking to expand our portable division due to recent growth.

In this role you will perform periodic routine inspections and testing of portable fire equipment, fire hydrants, fire hose reels, fire and smoke doors, emergency and exit lighting, path of travel and exit doors within the Melbourne metro and Victoria area.

The right candidate will be motivated and have strong understanding of the AS1851-2012, AS2293, the National Construction Code and have undertaken the FPA Certificate 2 in fire protection.

What do we need from you?

• Be reliable and self-motivated.
• Be well presented and work well unsupervised.
• Hold a current Australian driver's license.
• Must comply with all company policies, procedures and processes.
• Completion of FPA Certificate 2 and VBA restricted licensing
• Prior knowledge of Uptick not required but advantageous

As a condition of employment, a working with children and police check is required and all staff are required to be fully vaccinated.

Our office is located in Heidelberg West and will require visits to replenish stock, drop paperwork off etc.
