About the Role:
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organised Medical Receptionist to join our dedicated team. As the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, you will play a vital role in delivering a high standard of customer service and administrative support to ensure smooth day to day operations at our medical practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

Greeting patients and managing incoming calls with professionalism and empathy

Scheduling appointments and triaging patient needs appropriately

Processing payments, Medicare claims, and billing procedures using Best Practice

Managing patient records, including data entry, scanning, and correspondence

Supporting doctors and nurses with patient follow ups and clinical workflow

Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the reception and waiting areas

General administrative duties including banking, mail, and stock control

Upholding patient confidentiality and privacy at all times

Flexibility to work a rotating roster including early starts, late finishes, and leave coverage
