The Organisation:
Our client is an independently owned and operated Toowoomba based firm. Their team of 10 is dedicated to providing top of the line service to their client base of small to medium sized businesses. They specialize in providing services including accounting, tax & SMSF compliance, succession planning, and business advisory.

The Position:
Based in the Toowoomba office, this role will curated to your professional development goals and existing experience, and will include:

• CLIENT INTERACTION; answering queries, providing guidance, etc.
• Management of client records in line with privacy and compliance requirements (e.g. ATO guidelines)
• Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, trusts, companies and partnerships up to $20 million in turnover
• Leading/ reviewing the preparation and lodgement of BAS, IAS, and other statutory compliance
• Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards

Skills and Experience:

• A degree in Accounting, finance, or a related field
• 4+ years experience in public practice
• CA/CPA Qualified
• Proficient in Xero
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
