About the role
Join a dedicated and forward-thinking team delivering cardiac rehabilitation services to rural and remote South Australians through the Country Access to Cardiac Health (CATCH) program. Based within the Rural Support Service and part of the Integrated Cardiovascular Clinical Network (iCCnet), this rewarding Associate Nurse Unit Manager role allows you to make a meaningful impact by supporting patients in managing their heart health - often from the comfort of their own homes via telehealth. You’ll play a key leadership role alongside the Nurse Consultant, contributing to the development, coordination, and continuous improvement of this innovative, statewide service. How will you contribute
- Lead and support the coordination of cardiac rehabilitation services, ensuring consistency, quality, and culturally safe care.
- Assist in operational management, including rostering, recruitment, performance support, and supply oversight.
- Contribute to the triaging of referrals and monitoring of the waitlist to ensure timely access for patients across rural SA.
- Support the implementation of evidence-based changes and participate in the evaluation and reporting of service outcomes.
- Mentor and guide less experienced staff, while fostering a collaborative, patient-focused team culture.

Applicant Information
This is a part time vacancy, working 48 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
