WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
We’re offering a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to step into a dynamic leadership role at Forgie Surgical Ward, Gawler Health Service. As a Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), you’ll use your clinical expertise and leadership skills to coordinate high-quality, person-centred care across a dedicated multidisciplinary team. You will drive continuous improvement, support professional development, and foster a positive, respectful workplace culture - all while making a real difference in the lives of patients and their families.

The Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network runs from Kangaroo Island to Eudunda, wrapping all the way around our metropolitan areas (this position is in Gawler). HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
- Lead and coordinate the delivery of safe, evidence-based care and patient flow in Forgie Ward.
- Manage and support nursing staff, including workforce planning, rostering, recruitment, and performance development.
- Champion innovation and improvements in models of care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Drive quality and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with clinical standards, risk management, and accreditation requirements.

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW/WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR SUCCESS?

- You will be required to hold registration with AHPRA to practice as a Registered Nurse within our organisation.
