About the role
Join ACMI as our Social Media & Communications Coordinator to manage communities and content across ACMI's social media platforms. This full-time fixed term role (3 months) also provides administrative and publicity support to the communications team, working collaboratively with the Senior Publicist and Content & Social Media Advisor. Reporting directly to the Head of Communications, the role is engaging and dynamic working with stakeholders across ACMI and externally.
What you'll bring to the role
- Demonstrated experience in the fields of social media and communications or public relations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with highly developed creative writing and editing skills, idea generation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisation skills with the capacity to work autonomously, manage multiple deadlines in a changing environment and deliver consistent, high-quality work.
- Proven ability to build and maintain respectful relationships with internal and external stakeholders plus key influencers and content creators across the Australian arts, culture, and entertainment media landscape.
- Experience with social media management tools and content management systems (CMS), e.g. Meta Business Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Brandwatch, Google Analytics and Prospect2.

- Full-time fixed term role (6 August - 7 November 2025). Grade 3.1 role with a starting salary of $74,580 plus super.
