We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Branch Manager to lead and oversee all operational aspects of a branch office.

This individual will be responsible for assigning and directing work, supervising staff, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and productive work environment, prioritize customer satisfaction, and contribute to the branch’s growth and success. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong organizational skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to drive performance.

The Branch Manager will play a key role in implementing initiatives that enhance productivity, improve service quality, and support the achievement of sales targets.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading day-to-day operations across fabrication, distribution, logistics, sales, and customer service
• Managing and developing a high-performing team, driving a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Overseeing MIG welding processes and fabrication schedules to meet production requirements
• Preparing and reviewing reports, KPIs, and budgets to ensure financial and operational success
• Monitoring compliance with safety standards, quality controls, and Australian WHS regulations
• Liaising with suppliers, clients, internal teams, and site managers to coordinate projects and materials
• Supporting strategic and business planning activities aligned with long-term branch objectives

What you’ll need:

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within the steel or fabrication industry
• Strong knowledge of MIG welding, CC2 requirements, and Australian Standards AS 5131 and AS 1554
• Proven leadership skills and ability to drive operational improvement
• Experience in budgeting, reporting, and KPI tracking
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
