ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are a preferred supplier for repairs and troubleshooting across mining sites both in Australia and internationally. We contract and service a variety of rotating machinery including draglines, Shovels and ARDVARC drilling autonomous systems.
This is responsible for managing the safe and efficient delivery of field service operations and the effective supervision of the Bayswater workshop. The role will focus on managing service contracts, improving equipment performance, maintaining strong customer relationships, and working closely with internal teams to drive continuous improvement in product reliability and service outcomes.
ABOUT YOU:
We are seeking a hands-on Manager with a technical background in heavy mining equipment.
At FLANDERS, clear and effective communication is crucial. Our team must be able to articulate technical issues and solutions to both coworkers, business partners and customers in a way that is easy to understand.
Being a great Manager goes beyond just technical expertise; we value individuals who can build relationships with and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Essential criteria:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in mining or heavy industry.
Experience in managing contracts and customer relationships.
Workshop or trades supervision experience desirable.
Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
Data-driven problem solving with a continuous improvement mindset.
Sound communication and relationship management skills.
Desirable criteria
Mine site experience and understanding of mining operations
Understanding of mobile maintenance
Australian recognized Engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics (or other relevant degree)
