We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded property development group known for delivering landmark residential and mixed-use projects across Queensland for over a decade. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Accounts Manager to step into a critical role supporting the CFO and driving financial governance, strategy, and reporting.

About the Role:

As the Senior Accounts Manager, you'll play a key role in managing corporate and transactional financial information across several entities. You will work closely with the CFO, contributing to strategic planning, budgeting, funding arrangements (equity and debt), and ensuring best-practice financial management.
You’ll be hands-on in producing accurate and timely financial reports, improving systems and processes, supporting audits, and driving compliance. This role also touches on broader corporate services including IT, HR, and legal, offering excellent scope for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports with accuracy and integrity.
• Develop and monitor cash flow projections and funding schedules.
• Support budgeting, scenario modelling, and strategic planning.
• Ensure strong governance and process documentation across all finance functions.
• Collaborate with the CFO on legal, commercial, HR, and office management matters.
• Provide financial information related to property settlements and due diligence processes.
• Drive continuous improvement across accounting systems and reporting frameworks.

About You:

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting.
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion.
• Extensive experience in financial reporting, tax compliance, and cash flow management.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to interpret and communicate financial data clearly.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and Australian taxation.
• Previous experience in the construction or property development industry will be highly regarded.
• Highly organized, collaborative, and proactive in nature.
